Talk about an out-of context quotation. In Biblical times, we have different technology, different populations and population distributions, different politics (albiet with some similarities)... Apart from the fanciful depiction of victory celebrations, what makes that period of history relevant?
History repeats itself in a different way: similar political circumstances leads to similar outcomes, for there is a similar underlying structure in the historical situation. That there was a past victory by folk who largely share a female blood-line (and therefore mitochondria) with a present mass of people, proves nothing.
1 Chronicles 13:8 (New International Version) 8 David and all the Israelites were celebrating with all their might before God, with songs and with harps, lyres, tambourines, cymbals and trumpets.
or
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
When was this interview conducted ?
AntwortenLöschenoh .. on Feb 26 ?
