Not so fast, Randy...

Anyone who doubts climate change at this point is an IDIOT. That was the major impetus for the Bloomberg endorsement...because, as he says, only ONE of the candidates accepts science and plans to DO something about it!
He also mentioned other Obama policies and the fact that Romney has changed positions so much, including on HIS OWN health care policy.
Add the Colin Powell endorsement and the newly formed close working relationship with Republican governor Christie, and the job he's doing for those of us in the storm ravaged areas on top of what he did for the auto industry and i think he's in fairly good standing with REAL, working Americans.

I'm feeling good about Tuesday ;o)

  1. I am calling out a Romney win on Tuesday. He will take Florida, Virginia, Ohio and that will be enough. I think he will also take Colorado and Wisconsin. If I am wrong I will be here to take my lumps.

Everyone agrees that the climate changes. Everyone. There is no disagreement on this at all. The earth warms. The earth cools. The climate changes. This is documented fact.

The question always has been this; 1) How much effect does man have on this change? 2) What policies should we pursue, if any, to deal with it?

  2. Yes, but only one of the candidates is actually pursuing policies.
The other is pandering to the Wing-nut, Teabagger brigade who thinks we have no responsibility at all.
Even other responsible Republicans respect him.
Romney will only win the Nut votes. I'm betting the intelligent people will out vote them.

I think he will win on Tuesday.

  4. Even at this stage it'd be a bold move to predict a winner. I suspect Obama will take Ohio and Romney will get Florida, but even that I wouldn't bet money on. This is gonna be a pretty fucked up week in American politics.

  5. I tend to agree. But, as i understand it, if he takes Ohio and PA that should give him enough electoral votes.
Not that i'd mind, but i'm becoming more and more sour on the electoral college. It's turned the election into a race in only a dozen or so states. The rest of us don't matter.

  6. It all matters - unless you happen to believe those polls are anywhere near accurate. I don't.

  7. I voted for Dr. Jill Stein. If I thought Obama had an even remote shot of winning here, I would have given him my vote. AZ will matter for Democrats in 2016. It will probably be purple then. I worked harder trying to get 5 out of our 9 Congressional seats and Dr. Rich Carmona elected to the Senate.

Getting Carmona elected from AZ would be HUGE for the Democrats because it would be taking over a Republican seat (Kyl). That could be the difference in retaining control.

Lots of other really fascinating stuff going on beside the top of the ticket.

Btw, Romney wins FL only if Scott gets away with his cheating and limiting voting.
