And while you're here, here comes some related stuff, including a new story from today... seems the Russian-Chechen battlefield has extended to British soil...
Though done some searching, I was unable to find the conviction anywhere that is referred to in the article. Perhaps anyone can find out more on that?
As to the article itself.. Putin may issue a so-called international warrant, but through what organization does he (Putin) believe Soros will possibly be arrested? With Russia not being a member of Interpol, and not having acknowledged the ICJ or its bodies, all that Putin can do is sent out Russian police-men/women, and find Soros anywhere, and then kidnap him to Russia, arrest him on Russian soil, and bring him to court.
I guess Soros will not be unguarded, and when someone approaches him, his guards will fight the attackers (as they will be seen).
Probably just a political move by mister anti-democratic pro-dictator Putin........
OK, I did look for "Soros" and "convicted"..... my wrong...... but...
looking at the link you so kindly provided, and after reading it carefully (one wrong a day is enough I think (grins)) I was unable to find the conviction, or sentence..... a case yes, but I fail to find the fact that he is convicted. I of course can miss it, but searching at the given site on "soros" and "conviction" I cann't find the conviction, help me out?
Occupy Wall Street site made the statement that he'd been convicted... I didn't. I don't really care, other than being happy to know there is a case against that bastard committing fraud (or whatever it was - I didn't even read it).
I found that link by googling also the sum stated, $39.4m from memory... try that, should be plenty others, high profile defendant like that.
I'd tend to think what OWS wrote was just a bit over-excited at one of the more prominent 1% being in the dock... and probably a tad misinformed. It's just not the most important thing I've got right now - but am interested to hear if you find it, for sure. If you want to find what you're looking for, provided it exists, you will. Forgive me if I've misunderstood, but you do seem more concerned with denying it... perhaps you're not a fan of Occupy and wish to discredit them? Like I said... not the top of my agenda right now. Good luck.

Righto... couldn't sleep when I started, now I will :) Until next time!
AntwortenLöschenGood for Putin. Frankly it is way past time to make some of these super rich criminals do time for what they have done.
