Can regional / national self-sufficiency effectively combat the negative effects of economic globalism? It seems that Thailand is in the vanguard of an idea whose time may have come.
Very interesting thought... Nations who export a lot won't like self-sufficiency of other countries, but it is maybe better even for them than exporting jobs to the third world and importing the products they once used to fabricate themselves.

AntwortenLöschenI admire Thailand for its use of its land to become self-sufficient. Unfortunately, it allows its young women to be exploited and is one of the prime destinations for "sex holidays".
